How to Play Captain Click
The idea is to clear groups of colored coins from the screen. Extra points are awarded for larger groupings of identical coins and sinking the treasure chest in each level. It is just that simple, but unbelievably fast. If you click groups of at least three colored coins, they clear from the screen and you collect points. A glass tube to the left of the screen fills immediately with tons of coins, giving you a visual reward to keep working hard. When the glass tube is full, a treasure chest appears in play. To reach each level sinks the treasure chest by clicking all the coins below it so that it falls to the base of the screen.

There are five levels of Captain Click, starting simple, speeding up in consecutive levels and getting progressively trickier. The coins move slowly at first and then quickly increase in speed. The faster you click, the quicker you earn points. The trick though is that if you click on coin groups of less than three you lose points, so be careful. First, you fill the glass tube by clicking identical colored coins. Then when filled, you receive your treasure chest; sink it and you level up with bonuses. Bombs will appear. Click on the bombs to clear 20 coins. Gather your coins around the bombs and potentially clear away all the single colored coins to increase your bonus potential. Color bombs clear groups of colored coins, which comes in handy to speed your clicking time.
Clear all of the five levels before the game times you out and you get an excellent reward. Point scores depend on the number of coin groupings you get. More points are earned for groupings of five or even ten, so be patient and don't just click the groups of three. Large groups of coin clearing bring huge bonus points. For example, clearing all the yellow and red coins makes room for all of the blue coins that can be gathered for extra bonus points. The game contains bonus multiplier of two, three and four that are arranged in large groups of coins. If you clear that grouping, you get the multiplied bonus. If you clear, for example, ten blue balls with an x4, your points are quadrupled. Ten coins with an x3 are worth three times more. Click as many balls as you can in a series and the captain's lantern glows in that color series. You make more points the greater number of levels you play.
If you clear the entire board of all the coins, you will get a clearing bonus that increases each time you clear the board of all the coins and chest. The bonus get bigger with each level and by the time you are at level five, you will be making five times the original bonus level one bonus.
The arrow at the bottom, right side of the board can be used to accelerate the flow of new coins onto the board. By clicking on the arrow, a row of coins will flow onto the board. This can be useful when building a long color series. You can also accelerate the flow of coins by pressing the space bar.

Strategy for Playing Captain Click
When you think you're ready increase the flow of coins onto the board by clicking the arrow at the bottom, right side of the game. When you increase the flow, a new row of coins loads onto the board so that you can build a longer color grouping. You can also speed up the coin flow just by hitting your space bar.
Earning extra points is easy. Create long groups of individual colors in the final levels. Pick one color and try to keep it as long as you can while clearing the board of other colors. Remember, too that the bombs don't mess up the color series. When you get to levels four and five your bonuses really increase. The same bonus in level one is worth five times that amount in level five. If you can trap several x2, x3 or x4 multipliers in your coin groupings, your bonus points will reach 30 to 40 times their value.
To maximize you're playing time watch for increasing rewards at each level. Line bonuses are accrued when the treasure chest hits the bottom of the screen. You also get additional bonuses for your coin groupings on the board. Empty rows earn you points, even if you can only empty a few from each row. Only you will know the bonus and surprise at level five, we don't even know. Since each level affords you additional game time, you will still be able to score big even as a beginner. Be sure though to take advantage of the practice games to find a better strategy for clearing the coins.
