Cubis is a revolutionary 3-D game where your objective is to remove a number of cubes to advance to higher levels in the game.

How to Play Cubis

Also there are seven types of cubes you need to know about before you begin the game: the Normal Cube which are regular cubes in red, orange, yellow, green, blue, and purple. The Wedge Cube, which are cubes when they enter the board turn into normal cubes and bump off cubes that are already on the game board. The Osmosis Cube, changes the color of the cubes already on the game board. Cracked Cube, these cubes are not playable on the board once they become a cracked cube. Stone Cube are grey in color and are never part of a chain, and can only be removed by a laser cube. They also do not go down for any reason; they always stay where they are at unless removed by the laser cube. Finally, the Laser Cube which is the only cube that can remove a stone cube. They also do not slide into a row or column, they actually shoot onto the board, and it will eliminate the first cube it reaches in that row or column.
The basic play instructions are first to utilize your mouse by moving it left and right to aim the next cube. Click the mouse to release the colored cube, and remove the set of cubes. This is done by placing the cube you have onto a set of cubes with similar color, forming groups of three or more cubes. Keep an eye out on the timer, as you have to clear a certain number of cubes on that level before the timer runs out, to advance to the next level. Also, while playing keep a lookout for the star cubes, as they are worth big points when you remove them, but if you fail to clear them then you lose big points.

Strategy for Playing Cubis

When you are planning your strategy keep in mind that you will lose points for any cubes left on the board, so your plan should be based off of getting all the cubes cleared off the board. In addition, you get more points for a Cubis, so when stacking the cubes in a bunch, you can get a Cubis by clearing the chain within that bunch, giving you high points. Watch out for the Stone Cube does not move and can disrupt your strategy and ultimately your game. This cube can only be destroyed by a Laser Cube, so make sure you use this cube at the first chance you get to eliminate the Stone Cube.
If you have the Laser Cube and all the Stone Cube are gone or you are down to just a few Cubes left, then you may want to shift your strategy on the usage of the Laser Cube. Use it against the other cubes, which will help reduce the "Cubes to Go" counter by one and if you shoot into an empty column or row then the counter remains the same. Star Cubes are a must, as they give you the most points in the game, tackle these first if you can, because if you leave them on the table after you clear your round, then you will lose big points for each Star Cube.
Finally, always try to remove Cubes that are at the high levels, as this will get you more points. Then move to the second and third levels before they drop down. In addition use the Wedge Cubes to higher the Star Cubes before taking them out.
