Dragon Click
Into action games? Dragon Click is an exciting game that is very similar to one of the biggest games in the world, Bejeweled.
History of Dragon Click
Dragon Click is a relatively recent game currently available for play at DuellGames.com, where players can go to compete for more gaming credits or cash against live opponents.
How to Play Dragon Click
The premise behind Dragon Click is to remove adjacent blocks of similar color by clicking on them. Two or more blocks can be removed at a time as long as they are next to one another. While this is on a similar thread to several other games, this game adds a twist: while you are attempting to clear the game board, you are also gradually moving letters trapped between the blocks to the bottom of the screen, where they will then be removed from play and placed into one of the lamps on the right side of the screen with the corresponding letter. The lamp will light up, showing that it has been completed. When all of the lamps are lit, it will spell a word and you will be able to progress to the next level after you've completed any remaining moves.
The game has various ways to earn bonus points throughout play. While points are awarded for each block removed from play, bonus points are awarded when consecutive groups of the same color are removed. The player also receives extra bonuses for removing letters of the word in the correct spelling order and, although you don't need to in order to progress to the next level of play, a bonus is also awarded for clearing all of the blocks from the screen. You should keep in mine that the less time a level takes you the better, as the Time Bonus awards can be much higher than the bonus for clearing all the blocks. If you manage to finish all five levels within the allotted time, you will also be rewarded with a special bonus round that allows you to click on falling treasures as fast as possible for a way to even more points.

Besides the colored blocks, there are also rainbow blocks, which switch to one of the colors in play each time a move is made. You will know these blocks by the rainbows around the edges of them. If used properly, these can be a great asset in helping to clear the board.
There are a total of five levels to Dragon Click, each more difficult than the last, for which you are given a total of four and a half minutes to complete. During the game, points are awarded for each group of blocks removed from play. Drago, the namesake of the game, is your dragon friend who gives you the initial walkthrough on how to play and who can help you should you get stuck. Should you find yourself stuck, there are two options you can use: "chopsticks" and "shuffle."
Chopsticks are found in each level in one of the colored blocks; once that block is successfully removed from the screen, the chopsticks become yours. They are used when you have a colored block that needs to be removed and no neighboring blocks of the same color to aid in its removal. By clicking on the ball at the bottom of the game screen containing the chopsticks and then clicking on the block you want to remove, you are able to remove the block and continue your game. Each pair of chopsticks is good for one use only.
Shuffle can be used only once during the five-level game. When you find that you have no more blocks that can be removed from play, Drago will shake the side of the gaming area to rearrange the blocks, hopefully producing more matches for you to remove.
If you fail to remove all the letters, your game will be over. However, if all letters have been removed and there are still blocks on the screen at the end of the game, you will receive a bonus of gold coins for each column that is empty of blocks and you will be able to progress to the next level.
Play Dragon Click for Real Money
When you register at DuellGame.com, you are started off with 1000 credits with which to practice playing Dragon Click against a live opponent, the prize being more credits for play based on whichever of the two players has the highest score upon completion of the game. Once you have had the chance to practice for awhile and are familiar with the game play and comfortable in your skill level, you can start up a game playing for real money. The cash prize is awarded, again, to the player that has the highest number of points at the end of play. You'll need to keep in mind that there will be many other skilled players that will be playing these games against you, so make sure you have had plenty of time to hone your techniques and your strategies!
Strategy for Playing Dragon Click
It should be noted that every block you click on should be able to be removed by having another one of its same color next to it. However, if you click on a block that cannot be removed, not only is it ineffective in clearing the board, but you will lose points for having clicked on it. This is to discourage random clicking in a player's attempt to get through the current level faster in order to collect the time bonus.
You've already read about the uses for chopsticks and shuffle and how they can help you to clear more blocks on a level you otherwise might not be able to finish. Since each of the five levels in Dragon Click gets progressively harder, it is wise to save them until the fifth level if at all possible. Level 5 has the highest number of different colors and is more difficult to clear than any of the others before it.
If you run out of moves your remaining blocks will begin shaking and a countdown will start if you don't use your shuffle or your chopsticks to help create more. Don't worry if you can't clear all the blocks on Levels 1 through 4. If you have cleared the letters, wait for the countdown advising that you have no more moves. When it reaches zero you will be able to move on to the next level. Your bonus for that level may not be as high, but you will have a better chance of clearing the game board on Level 5 if you hang on to them.
