How To Play Dynomite
There are four modes of play available on the deluxe edition of Dynamite: Endless, Stomped, Fossil, and Time Trial. Gameplay is relatively simple on all modes. For the Endless mode, rows of colored eggs descend from the top of the screen. Using your own supply of eggs, the player must use your slingshot to shoot at them. When three or more of the same colored eggs collide, they will explode. If a large mass of the eggs makes it to the bottom of the screen, the whole playing field will be crushed by "Mama Brontosaurus", causing the game to end and forcing the player to start over.
Stomped Mode has the player solving a difficult puzzle arrangement as it appears on the screen by shooting eggs which correspond to a matching color in the sequence. Each egg shot into the mass will further anger Mama Brontosaurus, causing her to stamp her foot down, which makes the playing field smaller.

In Fossil mode, there is a dinosaur fossil in the playing field, which is surrounded by a mass of eggs. The objective here is to shoot matching eggs to break the fossil free and add it to your collection. Gameplay is similar to Endless mode in that if the player allows the mass of eggs in the playing field to reach the bottom of the screen, the game will end.
Time Trial is different than the other modes because it only keeps track of time spent playing, rather than setting a limit. In this mode, a multi-colored arrangement of eggs appears on the screen and must be cleared by shooting matching eggs from the players supply, thereby clearing the playing field. This mode is mostly used for practicing purposes.
In the free, browser-based version of Dynomite, players are limited to two modes of play. Both Endless and Stomped mode are available in easy, normal, and hard difficulty levels.

Strategy For Playing Dynomite
In Endless mode, the best strategy will be to match up the biggest egg combos possible each time. The bigger the combos you make, the more points you will accrue, which will go along way to help you beat your competitors. Endless mode is fairly simple and doesn't require much more of a strategy than this. Rack up plenty of points and shoot for bonuses whenever possible, allowing you to advance faster and crush other the other players.
Stomped mode also has a simple strategy. Your job here is similar to Endless mode in that you need to rack up as many points as possible before your opponent does, keeping an eye all the while on how low your playing field gets. Get the highest number of combos possible and do your best to clear the screen before Mama Brontosaurus makes the playing field too low for you to feasibly continue. If your opponent still has plenty of room and is scoring combos left an right, you don't have much of a chance if your playing field is a fraction of what theirs is.
When competing in Fossil mode, the trick here is to do whatever it takes to collect more fossil pieces than your opponent. Thinking outside of the box in this mode is especially important. Utilize the wall by bouncing corresponding colored eggs off of them to get them where they need to be in order to free up your fossils. Competing in those mode will require greater attention to detail than in other modes if you want to win.
The most effective strategy in Time Trial mode is simply to clear the playing field as quickly as possible, while still gaining more points and combos than your opponent. While it is unlikely that you will be competing in Time Trial mode, just remember to get through it as quickly as possible, should you ever decide to try.
When competing in Dynomite, is important to not over-think each strategy and remember to stay focused on the main goal at all times. Allowing yourself the luxury of slowing down will only help your opponent to gain an advantage over you. Keep a steady pace, and do whatever it takes to outsmart your opponent. This is the only mindset you can allow yourself to have if you have a real desire to to win big bucks playing Dynomite. Practice and perseverance are key factors in competing against other experts with this or any other puzzle game.
