Zen Gems is a color matching game that gives you different game boards to work through. At the beginning of each level of Zen Gems, the color balls and gems are dropped to form a puzzle. You need to maneuver your series to make sure that you will will be able to clear a series that is under gem. The only way to get rid of the gems is by having them fall, and you need make them fall twice. The first time a gem falls it gets cracked. There will be different cages in some levels. Some of these cages are colored and all you need to do to break them is by making a series including that block with the matching color. The other kind of cage is one that cannot be cleared. The only way to get rid of this cage is if you get a ball called a fireball that will blow things up. ColorBurst balls will turn a group of balls into the color that is is. Energy balls will destroy all the balls in a line of the same color as the energy ball. And finally fireballs will destroy any one ball, but will not destroy gems. By using these these special balls are usually necessary to be able to finish the level.
