Best No Minimum Deposit Sports Betting Sites ($10 Sportsbooks)

by James Lafferty-->

Best No Minimum Deposit Sports Betting Sites ($10 Sportsbooks)Are you new to online sports betting? If so, you might be looking for the best no minimum deposit sports betting sites. If you don’t want to make big bets, you’ll need to stick with sportsbooks offering low minimum deposit requirements.

And if you just want my list of recommendations, they are, in order:

  1. BetOnline
  2. SportsBetting.ag
  3. Bovada

If you’re new, definitely start small and work you way up in stakes. Online sports betting can be an expensive hobby. You should probably study some books about sports betting to start, too. Be sure to also read my post about how to win at the sportsbook with just $20.

Effective bankroll management is the most important skill a new sports bettor can learn.

And you can’t learn that with high deposit minimums and large wagers.

When your bankroll grows, and you have a better idea of your skill as a bettor, you can make bigger deposits and larger wagers.

But which sports betting sites have the lowest minimum deposits?

I offer a list in this post. If you live in the United States and are looking for legal, regulated bookmaker sites there, check out this list of legal sports betting promo codes available.

A List of the Best No Minimum Deposit Betting Sites (Low Stakes Sportsbooks)

Here’s a quick list of the best no minimum deposit sports betting sites that accept bettors from the United States. You can’t really expect a sportsbook to have no minimum deposit, but the minimums are low enough that they might as well be “no minimum.”

Many states in the USA have draconian gambling laws, especially for sports betting, so most of my recommendations are for offshore betting sites.

Here are the sites I recommend:

Best Gambling Sites

#Gambling SiteSignup BonusStart

1

Slots.lv300% up to $7500

2

Bovada100% up to $3000

3

Ignition Casino150% up to $3000

4

Cafe Casino250% up to $1500

5

BetUS Casino200% up to $3000
  1. BetOnline
  2. SportsBetting.ag
  3. Bovada

Bovada and BetOnline both accept deposits as low as $10. And SportsBetting.ag accepts deposits as low as $20.

I’m unable to recommend any betting sites that accept deposits of $1 or $5, but really, if you can’t afford $10 or $20, you might not be in a position to afford to bet on sports anyway.

All 3 of those recommendations are safe and trustworthy, too. They provide excellent account security and pay winnings quickly. All 3 also offer a wide variety of sports to wager on. And they have plenty of wagers to choose from per event.

If you haven’t already done so, you should look into using some type of cryptocurrency to fund your betting accounts. Bitcoin is the most popular of these options, although many sports bettors also like Etherium.

What’s the lowest stakes bet you can make at these sites?

All 3 sites offer bets as low as $1 per game.

If you lived in Europe, you might have options for even lower stakes, I cater to a largely United States audience. Minimum bets of $1 per event are the best you’ll do at a reputable offshore sportsbook accepting US players.

Also, if you’re planning a trip to Vegas, you can find some information about the lowest stakes sportsbooks in Vegas here.

How to Deposit Funds at the Best No Minimum Deposit Sports Betting Sites

Getting your money from point A to point B when you’re betting on sports from the United States can be a trick.

Here are some ways to deposit funds at these best no minimum deposit sports betting sites without too much of a headache.

Credit and Debit Card Deposits

The first and easiest option most bettors think of are credit cards or debit cards. Most sports betting sites accept Visa or MasterCard, and some even accept Diners Club. This isn’t a guarantee that your credit card will accept the transaction, though.

Try one of them and see what happens, though.

The biggest perk to using a credit or debit card to deposit is that your funds at the sportsbook become available immediately. Withdrawals take between 3 and 5 days to process at most offshore sportsbooks, and they always prefer to pay out winnings back to the credit card you used to deposit first.

The other big perk to using credit or debit cards is that you don’t have to pay a fee for your transaction.

Online Wallet Deposits

An online wallet is a service like PayPal which enables you to make and receive payments on the internet. Online wallets are similar to bank accounts, but you have fewer options with an online wallet.

Other online wallets popular in the betting niche include Neteller and Skrill.

You can use these to make deposit that are instantly available, too. And withdrawals using these methods are faster than with credit cards — they usually only take a day or two.

Like credit and debit cards, online wallets don’t cost a fee to use at the sportsbooks I’ve recommended here.

The only drawback to online wallets is that deposit bonuses sometimes have restrictions related to their use. Read the latest terms and conditions of your bonus offer before making a final decision.

Cryptocurrency Deposits

All the sports betting sites I’ve recommended love doing business in cryptocurrencies like Bitcoin, too. See the individual site’s banking page for details about how those work, as they vary wildly from one book to another.

Bank Wires and E-Checks

The minimum deposits and withdrawals for bank wires and e-checks can be higher than the other banking methods I’ve mentioned on this page.

Bankroll Management for Low Stakes Sports Bettors

I mentioned in the introduction to this post that bankroll management might be the most important skill a sports bettor can develop. Here are some tips related to bankroll management that are specific to low stakes sports bettors:

The first thing to know is that you shouldn’t gamble with money you can’t afford to lose. Some people are on such a tight budget that even $10 is a needless extravagance. If that describes you, find something better to do with your money.

The next thing to know is that you shouldn’t risk your entire bankroll on a single bet. Even if you think it’s a sure thing, it’s not. By spreading your action around, you’re protecting your bankroll from unnecessary risk.

Surprises happen during sports betting events every day. And even the best handicappers have losing streaks. Don’t let your bankroll get wiped out because you didn’t practice appropriate bankroll management.

Most bankroll management writers suggest not risking more than 5% of your total bankroll on a single bet. With a $10 bankroll, this would mean keeping your bets at 50 cents or lower. That’s impossible, of course, because even betting sites specializing in low stakes betting require a minimum bet of $1.

What’s the solution?

Don’t bet more than $1 at a time until you’ve grown your bankroll to $40. At that point, you can start risking $2 per bet.

Be prepared to go broke and need to deposit again, too. It might happen. It might not. Either way, you should be prepared for the possibility.

As you gain more experience, and, as your bankroll grows, you might start changing the amounts of your bets based on how good an opportunity you think each bet is.

But with a $10 or $20 bankroll, it just doesn’t make much difference. Stick with $1 bets.

Signup Bonuses at the Best No Minimum Deposit Sports Betting Sites

Keep in mind that just because you deposit the minimum of $10, that doesn’t mean your total bankroll is only $10. All the sports betting sites I recommend on this page offer deposit bonuses and other promotions. These increase the size of your bankroll.

Some sports bettors even build their bankrolls quickly by bonus whoring. You sign up at betting site #1, claim the bonus, and clear the minimum wagering requirements.

Then, you cash out and deposit your new bankroll at betting site #2, claiming another bonus. Rinse and repeat with site #3.

The only trick to this is to win more bets than you lose. If you’re a losing bettor, you won’t have any money left in your bankroll after clearing your wagering requirements.

An advantage to this approach is that you’ll get to try different sportsbooks and decide which ones you prefer.

Always read the terms and conditions of the signup bonus carefully before depositing, though. You won’t want to invalidate your winnings by screwing up what’s required of you by the book.

Bovada offers a 50% deposit bonus on your first deposit, so if you deposit $10, you get $5 free to add to your bankroll.

The Advantage of Small Bets

You can make bets for $1 a game in the sportsbooks I recommend, as you learned earlier. While this might not seem like a way to make much money, it also protects you from losing too much money when you make a mistake.

Focus on picking winning bets and build your bankroll. Once you build your first $10 into $100 or more, you can start making larger wagers. With a $10 balance, a $1 bet is 10% of your bankroll. I recommend building your bankroll so you can bet no more than 5% of your bankroll on any game.

 Conclusion

Making a small deposit when you start making sports bets online is a good plan. You don’t risk much money, and if you get on a roll, you can build your bankroll without depositing more money.

A small initial bankroll forces you to make small bets, but this isn’t a bad thing. You need to take your time and learn how the sportsbook works, and if you make a mistake, it’s not going to cost you too much money.

After you make a small sportsbook deposit, you can make a bigger deposit and take advantage of a bonus offer if you like how everything works.
