- Slots.lv – Get $7500 to play with with their 300% first time deposit bonus.
- Super Slots – $6000 in free money with their 250% new player bonus.
- BetUS Casino – 150% signup bonus up to $1500, plus they offer sports betting.
You’ll find my detailed thoughts on the loosest slots at Luxor in Las Vegas after the image.
The best slot machines at the Luxor have exciting game features that slot players love. They’re available in a lot of different denominations. The variety of 1,100+ games can be a bit overwhelming.
Here’s my list of the best slot machines to play at the Luxor:
- Buffalo Link
- Captain Riches
- Crazy Rich Asians
- Goldfish Feeding Time
- Monopoly Hot Shot Water Works
These five games made the list because they’re all available at the Luxor. They’re also all popular (and even famous) games. As an added bonus, they do a good job showing off the variety of slots available at the Luxor.
If you want to know what denomination offers the best odds at any given time, check out the Nevada Gaming Control Board’s monthly revenue reports. This will give you an average return for slots of different denominations. If you’re headed to the Luxor, be sure you look at the report for Clark County and not Nevada in general. That way, you’ll get a more targeted perspective on which denominations give players the best odds.
If you’ve booked a gambling trip to the Luxor and want to play the best slots they have to offer, stick to the five games reviewed below. You might also be interested in my post about the best slots at the Mirage or my post with the big list of slot machines in Las Vegas.

1- The Buffalo Link Slot Machine Game Is Like Two Games in One
Playing Buffalo Link, you can really feel that you’re playing a hybrid game. It’s a weird slot welded on to a more conventional slot game.
Oh, it’s also a lot of fun.
On the conventional side of things, Buffalo Link is a four-tiered progressive jackpot like Aristocrat’s Buffalo series of slots. Aristocrat threw us a curveball by adding Lightning Link to the mix. The result is Buffalo Link, a combination of Aristocrats’ two most popular slot series.
Best Gambling Sites
| # | Gambling Site | Signup Bonus | Start |
|---|---|---|---|
1 | Slots.lv | 300% up to $7500 | |
2 | Bovada | 100% up to $3000 | |
3 | Ignition Casino | 150% up to $3000 | |
4 | Cafe Casino | 250% up to $1500 | |
5 | BetUS Casino | 200% up to $3000 | |
From the Buffalo series, we get the All Ways Pay system. There are also x2 and x3 multipliers in the bonus game, reminiscent of Buffalo slots.
From Lightning Link, we get the popular Hold and Spin mechanic. This has the player collecting symbols within a specific number of spins. The more symbols you collect, the greater your reward.
The slot itself is a pretty standard 5 reel game with 4 rows of symbols. It’s a multi-denomination slot. You can play for $0.01, $0.02, $0.05, $0.10, or $0.25 per credit. The credit size you pick impacts the level of prizes you play for, including the lower-level progressive jackpots.
The free spins feature rewards up to 20 free spins which can be retriggered.
According to Aristocrat, the RTP is between 92.54% and 95%.
On my last trip to Luxor, I found a bunch of these games near the Pyramid Café on the northeast side of the main casino floor.
2- The Captain Riches Slot Machine Is Part of a Popular Progressive Slot Series
The Grand Rewards Club is a unique progressive system that brings together players of different progressive slots in a kind of competition for instant cash prizes.
To me, Captain Riches is by far the most popular of these slots at Luxor. It’s a simple game that has enough special features to keep it fun. You can play it for as little as $0.09 per spin at a max bet.
Captain Riches has 5 reels and 3 rows of symbols. The symbols are all vaguely pirate and nautical-themed (telescopes, pipes, etc.) except for the typical 9 through Ace playing card symbols.
Your bet on Captain Riches is fixed at nine lines per spin. That means you vary the amount you bet per spin by picking your denomination. You can bet between $0.01 and $30 per line. That’s a total bet range of between $0.09 and $270.
Since the prizes are multipliers, the pay table is the same regardless of how much you bet. The biggest jackpot is x20,000. To earn that, you have to make a combination of five bell symbols using the game’s Captain Riches wild symbol. Because all wild wins are doubled, the 10,000x payout for five bells is doubled.
Even at the minimum bet of $0.09 per spin, that 20,000x multiplier is valuable. A minimum bettor would win $1,800.
As you play, your progress is tracked. It’s all based on how much you spend. The higher you progress, the more likely you are to be entered into tournaments for big instant prizes.
It’s a weird slot in that doesn’t have bonus games or even free spins, but keeps you playing with decent music, a wild symbol that doubles the value of all winning combos, and that unique Grand Rewards Club system.
3- The Crazy Rich Asians Slot Machine Is a Luxury-Themed Licensed Slot
Crazy Rich Asians by Aristocrat has four things going for it before you even play a single spin:
- It’s a licensed slot based on a blockbuster movie.
- It has the word “crazy” in the title. Slots players love things that are crazy.
- It has the word “rich” in the title. Slots players love the word “rich.”
- The game uses a big, bright, curved screen and a loud soundtrack to demand your attention.
Once you push a little money into the game, you’ll discover all its other features. Crazy Rich Asians has five bonus features. It uses a unique Cash-on-Reels system that can instantly double, triple, or quadruple your wins. There’s a five-tiered progressive jackpot system.
Crazy Rich Asians is a 5 reel slot with 3 rows of symbols on the screen. The symbols include the stars of the movie – Constance Wu, henry Golding, Awkwafina, and Michelle Yeoh. You’ll also see luxury-tinted symbols like gold bars, diamond rings, fancy earrings, and Champagne flutes filled to the brim with bubbly.
Warner Bros. worked with Aristocrat to produce this game. It looks beautiful, includes tons of audio and video clips from the movie, and just generally plays more like a video game than a slot.
About those bonus features – one is a free spins round that rewards between 10 and 15 free rounds of play, during which your wins are either doubled, tripled, or quadrupled. Another popular Crazy Rich Asians bonus game is a wheel feature, in which spins of the wheel lead to jackpots and multipliers up to 4x.
I found a bank of three of these games (each one has four games, so it’s actually twelve slots) near the dead-center of the main casino floor, close to the high limit area on the eastern side.
4- The Goldfish Feeding Time Slot Machine Is All About the Free Spins
SG Gaming’s Goldfish Feeding Time is a good example of a game that shouldn’t be as popular as it is.
As far as I can tell, the reason it’s hard to find an open seat at a Goldfish Feeding Time slot at the Luxor is that it’s a low volatility slot with a lot of bonus features.
You could say it’s one of the least boring of a boring category of slot games.
Goldfish Feeding Time has an unusual layout – 5 reels with 6 rows of symbols. It’s a multi-denomination game allowing bets of up to 600 credits per spin. As you increase the denomination, your potential winnings increase.
This means you can play the game for as little as much as you want, so long as you don’t care about going after the biggest prizes.
The big draw of the game is the fact that every spin is eligible for a random bonus feature. After each spin, you could win one of five color-coded bonus features.
For example, if you land a gold fish, you’ll win between 5 and 20 free spins, each with a multiplier of between 2x and 10x.
I played Goldfish Feeding Time on the western side of the casino, near the buffet. They had a number of machines available, only because I was playing on a weekday afternoon when the casino is at its emptiest.
5- Tbhe Monopoly Hot Shot Water Works Slot Machine Is the Newest Game
Monopoly Hot Shot Water Works is the latest in a long line of Monopoly-themed slots. It has the typical huge, curved screen used by top-end modern slot games.
SG Gaming’s Monopoly Hot Shot Water Works is a 5 reel slot with 3 rows of symbols on each reel.
It has instant appeal because it’s a Monopoly game. Slot players like familiar themes. Board games provide a lot of natural opportunities for bonus features. You can even play Monopoly games online for real money
You can bet up to 600 credits. Players can set the denomination of their choice between $0.01 and $2. The more you bet, the bigger your potential payouts.
The big feature players are chasing here is the Monopoly Board game. You roll dice to add multipliers on a series of free spins as your character moves around the board. This is also the feature that leads to a progressive jackpot.
I found Monopoly Hot Shot Water Works in the extreme southeast corner of the main casino floor, near the Big Chill bar.
Conclusion: The Best Slot Machines at the Luxor
I made this list based on my experience playing slots at Luxor. These are by far the most popular slots at Luxor, and for good reason.
Leave a comment and let me know what your favorite slot machine at the Luxor is.
The best slot machines at the Luxor are going to be difficult to play at the casino’s peak times. That means if you really want to try the slots on this list, you’re better off visiting at an off-peak time, like a weekday afternoon or late morning on the weekends.
